Maryalice Demler anchors Channel 2 News, On Your Side at 5:30, 6, and 11 o’clock each weeknight.
She began reporting at WGRZ in 1993 and rose through the ranks from a general assignment reporter to the station’s main female anchor.
Her broadcasting career began as a morning radio personality at WJYE-FM in Buffalo. Prior to broadcasting, Maryalice taught middle school French and worked as a special projects director at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.

Diana Fairbanks joined News 4 Team in January 2012 and currently anchors News 4 at 5:30 and the #1 Rated 10 O'Clock News on CW23. From 1999-2012 Diana was an Anchor/Reporter for WPBN/WTOM in Traverse City Michigan and from 1997-1999 an Anchor/Reporter for KRTV in Great Falls, MT. She received her BA American Literature and BA Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland and Graduated Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors

Interested in animals her whole life, Donna M. Fernandes, President/CEO of the Buffalo Zoo, grew up in Norton, Mass., where she spent a great deal of time exploring acres of undeveloped forest that surrounded her parents’ home. She knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue an animal-related career, and while taking an animal behavior course her junior year of high school, she set a high goal by deciding to pursue a doctorate in the same field.

Mr. Giambra, Managing Director, Park Strategies, LLC, emerged as upstate New York’s most articulate voice for government reform and regional development. His work on coordinating and consolidating local government delivery systems includes every service from law enforcement to park maintenance to water systems. Some of his policy initiatives include creating the region’s first-ever Cultural Tourism marketing campaign; the region’s first-ever multi-institutional health care planning effort; and the bi-national region’s first-ever working group of business leaders and government officials.

Stephanie is the President of her and her husband’s company, Stejon Productions Corporation. Stejon Prod’s is the managing company of the NFL Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders where Stephanie is also Director, now in her 11th season. Stephanie is also a part-time host on Channel 7’s, AM Buffalo. In the past Stephanie has appeared in several local television commercials such as Bert’s Bikes and Fitness and Assisting Angels.

Aaron joined the WKBW Eyewitness News team as a meteorologist in March, 2000. He is the first - and only - broadcast meteorologist in Buffalo, and the 35th in the country, to earn a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society. The CBM designation is a mark of distinction and recognition. He provides the forecast Monday through Friday at 5, 6 and 11pm.

Veteran broadcaster Kevin Sylvester has worked for the Buffalo Sabres since 2005. Sylvester is the host of “Sabres Hockey Hotline,” a year round program that airs on WGR-AM in Buffalo. From 2005 to 2012, he was a staple on Sabres telecasts on the MSG Network, appearing on “Gamenight” intermission reports and “The Lexus Shootout” post-game show, which he co-created in 2005. Sylvester also served as the road play-by-play announcer for the Buffalo Sabres.

Peter Billet is an extremely accomplished ballroom dancer, teacher and judge with over 35 years of experience as an examiner.
Billett is a United Kingdom 10 Dance Finalist and a United States Championship Finalist. In England he won the Imperial Society Trophy. He is an official board scrutineer, a world championship adjudicator and a guest lecturer at the Imperial Congress in Worthington, England. Billett served as president of the United States branch of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. For the past 34 years he has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the Rochester Institute of Technology. For over 25 years he was the owner and principal of the Billett Ballroom Center. Some of his choreography accomplishments include the George Eastman House Academy Awards, Eastman Theatre performance with Eric Kunzel, and the Hispanic Heritage celebration with Rita Moreno. |

Kathy Hochul is a former Representative of New York’s 26 Congressional District serving the 112th Congress since her special election in May, 2011. She started her professional career working as in-house counsel to a major corporation engaged in homeland security, and later served as legal counsel and legislative assistant to Congressman John LaFalce and Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan within her own legal practice in Washington, D.C. From 2007 to 2011, Kathy served as the highest-ranking female official in Erie County as the County Clerk. As a loyal public servant to Western New York for the past 12 years, Kathy worked to strengthen the economy through targeted investments in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and small businesses. As a congresswoman she fought to eliminate unnecessary government regulations and to level the playing field so that American companies can compete in the global marketplace. She has received a number of awards for her service, including the American Planning Association’s Public Servant of the Year in 1994, YWCA Leadership Award in 2007, and the President’s Community Service Award from the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors in 2011. Kathy’s commitment to serving the needs of her community has taken a variety of forms. In 2006, Kathy joined her mother and aunt in establishing the Kathleen Mary House, a transitional home for victims of domestic violence and served on the Board of Directors. She also co-founded the Village Action Coalition to help businesses from the area in their battle to compete with larger corporations and chains and keep business local and thriving. Kathy served as a member of the Board of Trustees at Immaculata Academy in Hamburg as well. Kathy holds a Bachelors degree from Syracuse University, and a J.D. from Catholic University in Washington D.C. Married to her husband Bill since 1984, Kathy is the proud mother of two young adults, Billy and Katie. She lives in Hamburg.

Marilyn Singer is president of Capital Funding Group, a Master Consultant and a member of the American Cash Flow Association’s Million Dollar Club (1998). She is a 35-year veteran of advertising and marketing and holds a degree in Business and Economics. She is also a local and national trainer for live and broadcast presentation skills. Other specialized training includes communications law, ballroom dancing and interior design. Additionally, Marilyn holds a certificate as an Image Consultant. Throughout her career, Marilyn has remained active in community service. She has served as President and Board Member of the 1000-member Ad Club of Metro Washington, D. C.; President of the Board of Trustees of St. Mary’s School for the Deaf for 6 years; Vice President and 6-year Board Member of the Rotary Club of Buffalo; and 1st Vice President and Board Member of the Arts in Education Institute of Western New York, to name just a few. While pursuing her advertising and marketing career, Marilyn also began investing in real estate in 1971, buying, rehabbing, renting and selling numerous properties in Washington, D. C., Virginia, Maryland, New York and on the Canadian shore. With husband, Larry, Marilyn co-authored the popular textbooks, Brokering Delinquent Debt for Fun and Profit, now in its Fourth Edition; Life Settlements, A Timely Income Stream; and Probate Profits. They also authored the best-selling Get Out of Your Way---Success is Right Behind You. Marilyn has received numerous regional and national awards, including the Columbus Foundation’s “Woman of the Year;” the American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal; Arts in Education Institute of Western New York’s Roger Simon Award; and American Cash Flow Association’s Million Dollar Club. She is listed in “Who’s Who” in Advertising. Marilyn was certified as a visiting instructor for the Pino Training Organization in 1998. As a Master Consultant, she delights in helping new cash flow consultants with viaticals, life settlements, business notes, real estate mortgages and the ever-popular delinquent debt. Marilyn loves spending time with her husband and son, Harrison. She also enjoys training her quarterhorse, reading, swimming, and dancing, her dogs and cats.
