Mary Collins
Mary Collins is lauded by many for her service to her community and love for the arts.
Kim Piazza
Kim is a TV personality and host of “What’s The Buzz in Western New York” as well as “Talk of the Town”, on WBBZ-TV.
Kevin Sylvester
Veteran broadcaster Kevin Sylvester worked for the Buffalo Sabres since 2005. Sylvester is the host of Sabres Hockey Hotline, a year round program that airs on WGR-AM in Buffalo.
Jazzy T
Jazzy T is a radio & TV personality from Detroit, Michigan with 15 years of broadcast experience. She gained national recognition as a contestant on “America’s Next Weatherman” on TBS.
Michael Wooten
Michael Wooten competed in the 2014 Suneel’s Celebrity Gala dancing competition. Although he didn’t win, Michael had a great time and is excited to be tackling the cha-cha once again!
Armand Petri
Armand Petri has over 25 years of experience in the music industry, encompassing fields of artist management, record and video production, and live sound.



Donna Fernandez
Donna M. Fernandes - President/CEO of the Buffalo Zoo

Dr. Donna Fernandes has been President of the Buffalo Zoo since September 2000.   Prior to joining the zoo, she worked for the Wildlife Conservation Society in New York as the Curator of Animals and Education at Prospect Park Wildlife Center.  Before that, she was Vice President of Programs at Zoo New England in Boston.  Fernandes also served as Senior Zoologist for Joseph A. Wetzel Associates - a leading exhibit design firm - and Director of Education, Research and Volunteers at Zoo New England.  For five years, Dr. Fernandes hosted an interactive television series for middle school students focused on insects.  She also served as the resident animal expert on National Public Radio’s Living on Earth.

Since her arrival in Buffalo, Dr. Fernandes has completed an exciting new master plan and raised $50 million in capital funds for a revitalized Buffalo Zoo.  In the last sixteen years, several major exhibits have opened including Vanishing Animals, EcoStation, Otter Creek, Sea Lion Cove, M&T Bank’s Rainforest Falls, Delta Sonic Heritage Farm, a new Entry Complex, and Arctic Edge, a state-of-the-art habitat for polar bears, Arctic fox, lynx and bald eagles.
Fernandes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior from Princeton University.  She also has a Master’s in Business Administration from Simmons School of Management.  In addition to her duties at the Zoo, she is an adjunct Assistant Professor in Anthropology at the University of Buffalo and teaches in the Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo’s nonprofit management program.

I was an anchor/reporter at WIVB-TV from 1996-2010.

Before that I worked as a reporter at WKBW-TV Channel 7 from 1990-1996.

I covered hundreds of stories during my 20 years on the air in Buffalo... most notably I covered 9-11 from NYC as well as being one of the first reporters on the scene after the Flight 3407 crash in Clarence in 2009.

Since retiring, I've become a "Hockey and Baseball Mom" To my son Thomas who is now in 8th grade and getting ready to take the entrance exam at Canisius High School.

I also assist my husband, Tom Burton with his law practice... and spend our summers in Nova Scotia. 
Suneel Ram
Suneel Ram

Suneel Ram is an alumnus of St. Joseph Collegiate Institute where he achieved first honors throughout each year of high school. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. Suneel also received the American Legion School Award upon his gradution. During his years at St. Joes, he enjoyed announcing for football, basketball, lacrosse and soccer games. Suneel was honored to be named the voice of the Marauders for his dedication to announcing by his St. Joes brothers.

Suneel has volunteered at Elderwood nursing home and a soup kitchen in the city of Buffalo.  He also had the honor of being involved in Mayor Byron Brown’s reelection campaign.

Suneel Ram is now a student at Canisius college. He has a passion for gaming so naturally he is majoring in video game design. He enjoys learning as well as discussing philosophy and religion. Suneel loves to get involved in the community. He is currently a board member on the Town of Amherst Committee on Disabilities. He also participates on the peace action, justice and diversity committees along with a number of clubs at Canisius college. This includes philosophy club, anime club and fusion gaming club.

Mary Ramsey
Mary Ramsey

Mary Ramsey a resident of Buffalo, New York, is a member of folk rock duo John & Mary and lead singer and violinist for the American alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs. Ramsey has also worked with other well-known artists such as Jackson Browne, Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Bragg, Warren Zevon, Alex Chilton and Ani DiFranco. She has been called "the most accomplished and prolific rock violinist in the business."
